SLAG brushes are designed to remove adhering slag, spatter and burrs from the edges and underside of laser- or plasma-cut steel sheets. Their robust construction enables them to tackle hard residues that can be difficult to remove with conventional abrasives or blades, facilitating treatment in a single pass, depending on working conditions and the degree to which the slag is adhering.
Mounting systems
Available with different mounting options to suit the equipment used:
- Standard flange: for deburring machines and compatible heads.
- M14 thread: for use with compatible angle grinders.
- QuickFix (snail-lock): quick-change system for compatible equipment.
The Right and Left versions allow you to select the correct direction of rotation to suit the machine’s spindle.
Brush types
- Single: suitable for slag removal in general applications.
- Double: features a higher filament density, suitable for tackling tougher slag and extending the brush’s service life.
Machine compatibility
Available for deburring equipment and brushing heads from manufacturers such as Costa, Timesavers, Weber, Lissmac, Q-Fin, ARKU and Loewer.
