Javier Zubiaurre, son of the founder Domingo Zubiaurre, an engineer trained at the Eibar Armory School, joined the family business and promoted its technical and commercial advancements. During this time the company moved to a new facility on Jardines-Muzategi street. Shortly after the Ullastres Crisis in Spain of 1957 began and forced JAZ to reinvent themselves by seeking new customers and markets for their products. As a result, JAZ experienced growth in business and expanded its workforce and invested in new modern manufacturing equipment.
